Agritech question · Selling to farms and greenhouses

How do I get farmers and greenhouse growers to trust a new technology?

Growers have seen plenty of technology that didn't work in their fields or houses. They trust results from operations like theirs more than any pitch.

Start with a problem the grower already feels: labour, energy, input costs, record-keeping, crop loss or yield variability. Show results from similar operations: same crop, region and system, whether field, barn or greenhouse. Lower the risk with a single field, one greenhouse bay or zone, a money-back term or a paid pilot credited to the order. Be reachable when problems happen. Track pilots started and converted.

Do trade media ads work?

For awareness. Proof closes.

Who decides in a greenhouse?

Often the owner, head grower and technical manager together.
