How do I use AI to sort reviews and feedback into roadmap priorities?

Reviews, tickets and surveys hold your roadmap. Reading them all by hand doesn't scale.

Answered by Zaki Usman, Founder of ShoutEx · Updated October 2026 for 2027 planning
How app founders ask it
  • We have thousands of reviews.
  • Can AI find themes?
  • How do we prioritize?

✓ Answer

Pull store reviews, support tickets and survey answers into one place. Use AI to tag each item by theme, such as bugs, missing features, pricing or onboarding, and by user segment. Count themes weekly and weigh them by who raises them, such as paying users or churned users. Product leads decide; AI organizes. Check a sample of tags for accuracy.

How we look at it at ShoutEx

Our developers build the pipeline; we help turn findings into roadmap and marketing. Turning real questions into content uses the same data.

Watch out for
  • Reading only recent reviews.
  • AI tags never checked.
  • All feedback weighted equally.
  • No link to roadmap.
Good signs
  • All sources in one place.
  • Tags spot-checked.
  • Weighted by segment.
  • Weekly theme counts.
