Financial advisor question · Turning meetings into clients

How do I follow up with prospects who said "not now"?

"Not now" often means "not yet". A pension decision, a sale or an inheritance changes the timing.

Record why they waited and the likely trigger, such as a retirement date or business sale, in your CRM. Send useful, approved content a few times a year and set a check-in near the trigger. Respect consent and unsubscribe rules. Track prospects who later become clients.

Nurture plan

  • Reason and trigger recorded.
  • Quarterly useful content.
  • Check-in near the trigger.
  • Event invitations.

This is general information, not legal or compliance advice. Your dealer, firm or compliance officer decides what you can publish.
